The siren originates from Greek Mythology, you know, the stories about Zeus and the Olympian gods. A siren is a half bird-half woman. We already have four playable sirens, that is: Lilith, Maya, Angel and Commandant Steele. That leaves two other female playable characters available in Borderlands 3. In the Four Assasins mission in Borderlands 2 we confirm that there can only be 6 sirens at one time in the Borderlands world and in my opinion, we will have two more sirens. I don't think Tiny Tina will be one of them though. It would be cool to have her as a playable character.
I did not really know the whole back story and origination from Greek mythology. It makes sense and I might have been able to piece it together but this is nice to learn too.
Yeah, that's true. I love Greek mythology, thanks for the story. I didn't really know about sirens to be honest, haha!
That sounds pretty awesome. I am a big fan of mythology creatures and love when they are properly brought into games.
Wow! I didn't know that. I think you're right, and I don't even want Tina to be one of them. I want some new characters to be introduced as playable characters, instead of overusing the old ones and ruin their charisma.
Sirens are kind of sexy. That is why they lure you to the sea with their beautiful voices and then they murder you or something. There is even a show on Netflix called 'Tidelands' which deals with Sirens and their half-breed offsprings who live on land. It is a cool show. You should check it out if you haven't.
