It can be a character or weapon, anything. This could be a really cool discussion where we can talk about the things we'd like to see improved in the future.

I disliked the art style and that's why I haven't played the game. Of course, I've changed my mind since and am looking forward to playing. I thought that I'd initially play Borderlands 2, but I feel like in order to better know the world and the story, I'll play Borderlands 1 first.

I wasn't interested in the world and the characters - which is really odd considering that I LOVED Borderlands 2. I think the writing had a large part of it; the comedic writing in Borderlands 2 really kept me immersed in the game. I'm pretty depressed that Anthony Burch left Gearbox. :'(

I did try to go back and play BL1 after playing BL2, but the controls are slightly different and I wasn't able to get used to it...

Did you play Borderlands 1 before playing Borderlands 2? I thought about playing BL2 before BL2 because I had the game in my library just sitting, but people on this forum convinced me to try BL1 first and I'm honestly having a lot of fun with it. I think I'll be able to enjoy BL2 as well.

I didn't like the lack of story and I'm glad BL2 fixed that. In Borderlands 1, you just get hints of this really interesting story happening around you that you don't know anything about because people are too busy sending you on random quests to explain what is happening. I don't think I would have liked BL2 as much if they'd continued that instead of fleshing out the story.

I also disliked a lot of the boring side quests in the first game since 90% of them boil down to a pointless fetch quest with almost no story.
