So, Ive been playing for maybe 18-20 hours now, Im only level 21, have yet to find a orange weapon, done all the side missions I find. Im where the home base just reappeared in the sky and went around and got all the 30 new side quests, and started working on them. Is there a good "level up" area I can go too? Where do I find some great weapons? I know you get more xp the more people you play with but everytime I open my game to public matchmaking I get some woohoos who want to go off doing their own thing.
Really want is bothering me is I feel like im advancing farther into the game and my old weapons and level make me feel im not standing up to the newly leveled enemies
Play with friends, just keep doing missions. Complete older missions you didn't complete when you got them. Constantly change gear to keep up with your foes, don't stay with one weapon for a long time
Orange weapons are called Legendaries for a reason. Don't expect them to drop left and right like they did in BL1. If you have any intention of farming once you should complete every mission in both playthrough 1 and 2. Having somebody power level you on your first character is a waste of time since you need to complete every mission anyways to unlock every boss.
There are a couple of "humps" you have to get through I found. What I mean is, you get to a point where your weapons are underwhelming once you get to a certain level, and it gets difficult. Fight through it, and keep leveling. I am level 50 and I only have three legendaries, and I've logged around 120 hours, though I'm not sure how much of that is idle time standing in Pandora while I go out to smoke, or make coffee, feed the cats, etc. Games like this require a lot of patience, unless you have ADD or are a product of our current generation of children who don't want to work for what they have.
You're thinking ADHD. ADD is the short attention span that isn't caused by hyperactivity and isn't nearly as distracting.
Well... i played BL1 an awful lot, but have not found one single legendary... have found over 15 in Bl2 though ... it's all down to luck
Oh, in Borderlands 1, Legendaries were EVERYWHERE. Kill Crawmerax, he drops at least 3 legendaries. Farm the Armory, you get at least 5-10. It was gloriously easy back then...
I have killed Crawmerax dozens of times - always with 2 persons - but never found one single pearlescent. Farmed the armory dozens of times aswell but best items were always purples, very good items though, but not pearlescent. It's all down to luck I guess ...
Yeah, I don't think I've got far enough for Crawmerax or the Armory yet, I HAVE to do every side quest I see, thanks for the tips
