When I first started Minecraft everything I built looked like rectangles or boxes, so not the most appealing buildings. I have an eye for design right now, I try to incorporate a lot of depth in what I build.
Ha, I'm still in the box buildings stage myself. I'm sort of envious of the people who can build houses that aren't just big squares, but I haven't been able to wrap my head around designing in Minecraft yet. Do you have any tips? Or did you just learn by practice, practice, and more practice?
You're not alone. Me too, I started like knowing nothing about building those blocks. I'm not really good until now. That's why my friend once told me architecture is not my thing.
I have some skills though not all the time I have got them right. But so far I think I have learned some creative ways on my own.
When I first started playing this game, I was not really good at building but as the time goes by, I became very creative.
I am a competent builder at best - not much else to say. In the beginning, I was horrible at it but as time passed I improved but I am no master,
The problem is I don't play Borderlands that often anymore either. I just don't have the time - Skyrim and work has really been hogging my time lol.
But Borderlands can't be modded to my taste - Skyrim can. I can play Skyrim anyway I want without any restrictions. Skyrim provides hours upon hours of new content and I have been playing it since 2012!
I have some skills in building in the real world so I transferred those skills to Minecraft. I build some pretty amazing buildings.
